Our values
People - we treat each other with respect, never compromise on safety and encourage continuous professional development
Integrity - we operate with integrity, admit mistakes, and have an open communication line to discuss concerns and solve problems
Precision - we do our best every day, taking pride in being precise about the exact size and location of discontinuities to cause minimal disruption
Expectations - we aim to exceed customer expectations to encourage long term relationships
Why choose us?
We offer in-depth knowledge, experience and expertise in Inspection and Non Destructive Testing (NDT) services to a wide range of customers including; oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical, general engineering to name a few. We take pride in the quality of our work and the service we provide to our customers. Our ability to complete contracts within stringent deadlines and to the exact standards of our clients is supported by the experience we have in this field.
Compliance
Quality is at the heart of what we do, that's why we operate to ISO 9001 quality management system and working towards accreditation. Our staff is qualified to various levels and disciplines of PCN and CSWIP schemes. In addition, our inspection and test equipment is periodically calibrated and is traceable to National Standards.
Ultrasonic Testing
Ultrasonic testing (UT) is a method which uses high frequency sound which is transmitted into materials to detect internal flaws. Ultrasonic testing is often performed on steel and other metals and alloys, though it can also be used on other materials, such as composites. This method has high sensitivity and can detect extremely small flaws. The operator can then interpret these signals using specialist equipment to determine the size, orientation, shape and nature of defects found.
Penetrant Testing
Dye penetrant inspection (DPI), also called liquid penetrant inspection (LPI) or penetrant testing (PT), is a widely applied and low-cost inspection method used to locate surface-breaking defects in all non-porous materials (metals, plastics, or ceramics). The penetrant may be applied to all non-ferrous materials and ferrous materials, although for ferrous components magnetic testing (MT) is often used instead for its slight subsurface detection capability.
Magnetic Testing
Magnetic particle inspection (MPI), also called magnetic testing (MT), is a low-cost inspection method for detecting surface and shallow subsurface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials. Magnetic testing cannot be used for non-ferrous materials and non-magnetic ferrous materials such as austenitic stainless steels - see penetrant testing (PT).
Visual Testing
Visual testing (VT) is the original method of NDT, it is usually used supported by another NDT method, however, it can also be independent. Using close direct visual testing can detect anomalies that are surface breaking such as; corrosion, erosion, abrasions, fatigue cracks, mechanical damage and wear and tear. This process can take place prior, during or after the welding process.
Radiograph Interpretation
Radiography interpretation (RI) is the viewing and evaluation of a completed radiograph. Interpretation of radiographs takes place in three basic steps: detection, interpretation, and evaluation. All of these steps make use of the radiographer's visual acuity and interpretation skills that been acquired over many years of experience.
